Thank you for your interest in visiting U.Va.
Information sessions and walking tours are given year-round, while classes are in session. Please make a reservation online prior to your visit. Once seating capacity has been reached, the session will be closed and will no longer appear in the reservation system. We suggest that you try to make arrangements to attend another day.
Please note that for the safety and security of our students, walking tours will not go inside residence halls. Virtual tours of the residence halls are available on the Housing website. See the bottom of this page for information about touring individual schools and academic departments.
Please be sure to check the monthly schedules for updates to locations and times if a reservation is made well in advance.
Unless indicated otherwise, visitors are invited to park in the Central Grounds Parking Garage located at 400 Emmet Street South, Charlottesville, VA 22904. We provide three hours of parking validation Monday through Friday. After the tour, please present your parking ticket at the Office of Admission reception desk for validation. We are not able to validate parking on weekends or on home football game days. Parking validation guaranteed only when Office of Admission is open, typically M - F, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm.
